C+E Truck Driver- Regio Alkmaar/Hoorn

You will start your working day at our location in Alkmaar/Hoorn, where a planner will always be present to support you if necessary. During the day, you will keep in touch with the planner via the on-board computer and sometimes by phone. As a driver, you are responsible for loading and unloading goods at distribution centres and supermarkets. The cargo mainly consists of refrigerated and sub-cooled pallets. In addition, you take back any return cargo. You work mainly during daytime shifts, which start between 04.00 and 08.00 and usually end in the afternoon. In shop distribution, you have a lot of interaction with different people, both at the distribution centres and at the branches, which makes for a varied and exciting working day.You will have plenty of opportunity to improve your driving skills, as you drive on motorways as well as through narrow village streets. Here, your dexterity is key. It is crucial that you realise that you represent our company, both on the road and with customers, and you act as our company's calling card.
