About the function
The warehouse consists of several different departments, each with its own specific tasks. The department where you get to work will depend on individual preferences and available positions. Possible assignments include:
Inbound Goods
Responsible for checking incoming goods for product quality and order completeness. Once verified, pallets are booked into the system and repacked if needed. Work is mainly in day shifts from Monday to Saturday.
Adapto & Decant
This department handles correct storage and retrieval of products within the Adapto system for order preparation. Completed orders are prepared for shipment. Shifts are either morning or afternoon, Monday through Saturday.
Regular Order Picking
Orders are picked using scanners and placed on roll containers or pallets. Completed orders are labeled and made ready for shipment. Shifts are morning or afternoon, Monday through Saturday.
Expedition
Tasks include checking and preparing orders for shipment, placing them on the correct routes, and optimizing space in trucks by combining orders when needed. This department primarily works afternoon or evening shifts, with occasional morning or night shifts, Monday through Saturday.
Most of the departments mentioned above operate in a chilled environment of approximately 4°C, so working in cooler conditions is part of the job.
Crates & Cleaning
This area handles returned empty crates. Tasks include sorting, cleaning, and preparing crates for reuse. Work is done in day shifts from Monday to Saturday. Regardless of the department, warehouse employees are expected to stay alert, handle materials responsibly, and remain flexible in both tasks and working hours. Tasks include sorting products or crates, waste processing, cleaning, and keeping the workspace organized.
