Over de functie
As operator you will be working in our control room, where together with a team of 4 operators you are responsible for the technical system. This system ensures that crates are moved to and from pick stations with a capacity of 6000 crates per hour.
As operator you monitor the technical system of elevators and conveyors. You do this using the systems Scada and Vision (High Level Control). When error messages, alarms and/or warnings occur, you make sure you act immediately and sharply. You resolve the disruption immediately or initiate escalation. You do this by communicating effectively to all system users so that downtime can be minimized.
You also communicate with the supplier of the system. For this reason you have a near native command of the English language in the technical field.
Within the control room you will work according to a flexible schedule. This means that the working hours will be between 06:00 and 23:00. Working days will vary from Monday to Friday (you will normally work 5 days per week). You may also be asked to perform machine maintenance on Sundays or overnight.
Furthermore, you will report to the Manager Control Room.

- You are willing to work in a cold environment (2 to 5 degrees celcius)
- You need to be in possession of a European passport or a valid work visa
