As a Mechanic at our client, you will be working on installations which vary from propulsion, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, through to fire extinguishing and bilge systems. No two days are the same! Once you have proven your expertise with regard to mechanical installations, you will quickly gain responsibility and freedom to conduct your own work autonomously. Because we, like you, believe in expertise. You will therefore be given all possible freedom to create something beautiful, with the necessary attention, precision and concentration. You derive great satisfaction from that attention for detail and passion for craftsmanship. As well as the pride you feel for the end results, once the yacht is delivered.
Overview of main tasks:
Independently measuring and preparing for the mounting of technical installations. Installation and commissioning on the basis of diagrams and/or drawings. Installing pipelines of various materials, specifications and material options such as compression, welded and flange fittings.

The Mechanical production department is responsible for all technical installations on board, including propulsion and HVAC, and NavCom AV/IT systems. Together with Shipbuilding production and Interior production, this department is responsible for the physical production of the yacht. This all takes place at the shipyard in Oss. You will be involved in construction throughout the process, from keel laying up to and including the test sail. This department is characterised by the great freedom and leeway for completion of the work within the specifications. You will work in a close-knit team with colleagues who are equally enthusiastic. Communication is direct, in an open and informal atmosphere.

- You are a professional specialist, with experience as a mechanic / pipe fitter / machinist and have a passion for yacht building
- You have affinity with client's product and you want to build on our customers’ dreams together with us
- You are keen to learn and would like to become specialised by undertaking training, for example
- You believe strongly in gaining knowledge and learning from others
- You work independently and accurately but are also energised when working in a team
- Say what you do and do what you say, is your motto. This makes you reliable, so that colleagues can depend on you
- You are not satisfied with 7 out of 10, you require quality
- You show leadership and are not afraid to speak up when there is a risk of something going wrong
- You have completed VMBO/MBO in mechatronics or mechanical engineering
- You have experience in reading technical drawings
- You have good English and/or Dutch language
